Male breast formation can be caused by a number of different factors. Gynecomastia is the term used to describe the appearance of the breast like formation in men. This is caused by a hormonal imbalance of oestrogen and testosterone. Being over weight can also contribute to larger pockets of fat forming in the breast area.
At Klnik, we have a number of treatments help with this.
CoolSculpting: can help kill some of the fat cells in your chest area that may be giving you the appearance of “man boobs.” Once fat cells are treated they are naturally processed and eliminated forever, so they won’t migrate to another area of your body and unlike other fat reducing procedures available, there is no change to fat in untreated areas.
Aqualyx: a fat dissolving injection which can rapidly reduce the volume of fat on the breast area. How many sessions needed will depend on the person and so a consultation would be necessary.

Treatment plans vary person to person and so it is important that you have a consultation to ensure we can give the best advice possible.

Most clients need 2 sessions of Coolsculpting for this area, but it depends on the reaction, amount of fat tissue versus breast tissue and the result you are looking for. Aqualyx is generally 3 or more sessions.

Aqualyx does not hurt but you may feel a scratch from the injection. Coolsculpting can be uncomfortable during the 2 minute massage post treatment.

Coolsculpting starts at £300 per session and Aqualyx £350 per session.

Yes, both are permanent. Coolsculpting is proven to decrease fat tissue by a minimum of 25% per session. If you gain weight in the future, your fat cells remaining in the areas, can still expand.

Both treatments can show results from around 4 weeks, and can be retreated around this time too. As the body needs to remove the dead fat cells through the lymphatic system, it can take a few months to see the results.

Fat reduction through Aqualyx and Coosculpting does not cause you to lose weight. Therefore, we take 360 degree photos before conducting these treatments, so that we can compare your before and after photos. Of course you should also notice the great results yourself!

Yes, CoolSculpting tends to leave swelling for a shorter time of around 3-7 days, whereas Aqualyx on the body can take a couple of weeks for swelling to subside. We would recommend wearing looser clothing during this time.

Yes, some clients use both methods. We would reccomend Coolsculpting first. Unless, the fat reduction is only minimal or only in a small area, then Aqualyx may be a suitable stand alone treatment.
